TOEIC Vocabulary Lesson - Instruct
Jul 30, 2023When you learn a new word, build you vocabulary with all forms of that word. When possible, try to start with the verb form - the verb will best show you the meaning of the word and the word family.
Instruct is a verb meaning to teach or show
- The trainer will instruct the new employees on the company policies and procedures.
Instruction is a noun meaning the act of teaching or showing
- The operation manual provided clear and concise instruction on how to operate the machinery.
Instructional is an adjective which refers to that which provides instruction
- The instructional video provided step-by-step guidance on how to use the product.
👉 Keep in mind the best way to remember this or any vocabulary in English is to take the word or phrase write it in a sentence that's true for you or true in your world and then memorize your sentences.
