Your knowledge of certain verb and preposition combinations will certainly be tested on the TOEIC® exam. Collide WIth is a good example of the kind of vocabulary that is often tested in  Part V and Part VI. 

collide with [someone]/[something]

  • I almost collided with the receptionist when I entered the lobby.
  • Jerry said he collided with another car on the way to the office this morning.

👉 Keep in mind the best way to remember phrasal verbs like this in English is to take the phrasal verb, write it in a sentence that's true for you or true in your world, and then memorize your sentences.
