toeic phrasal verbs Sep 19, 2023

Your knowledge of phrasal verbs will certainly be tested on the TOEIC® exam. Call Back is one of the phrasal verbs that often appears in Part V and Part VI.

Call back means to telephone someone who has previously called.

  1. Ms. Dylan phoned when you were at lunch. She’d like you to call her back.
  2. Please call the accounting manager back when you have a chance.
  3. When are you going to call back the CFO?

👉 Keep in mind the best way to remember phrasal verbs like this in English is to take the phrasal verb, write it in a sentence that's true for you or true in your world, and then memorize your sentences.

👉 You can even take your sentences and write them in the comments below. I would love to see your examples.
